Join us for Off on an Adventure when Strandhotellet welcomes angler, hunter, everyday cook and outdoor enthusiast Gordon P. Henriksen. Through vivid stories, inspiration and practical advice, Gordon shows how nature and small adventures can play a bigger role in everyday life – without having to travel to the other side of the world.
The evening features experiences from fishing and hunting trips to places including Florida, Mexico and Zambia, as well as ideas for adventures closer to home. Gordon talks about the joy of catching your own fish, preparing game, foraging for herbs and finding ingredients along the coast. He also focuses on how children, young people and families can enjoy memorable experiences together in nature.
You will also find inspiration for simple meals made with wild ingredients, along with clips and stories from Gordon’s YouTube series UD and his books Ha’ det for vildt and Et liv i fisk. Dinner is served at 6:00 PM, and the talk begins at 8:00 PM.
