Claus Mathiesen visits Sandvig Bogby

Sandvig Bogby invites you to an author evening with Claus Mathiesen about the book Nyt fra Ukraine. The book brings together personal and professional contributions from 15 experts on the background, outbreak and consequences of the war in Ukraine.

Claus Mathiesen holds a master’s degree in Russian and Polish, is a language officer and serves as an associate professor at the Royal Danish Defence College. In the lecture, he presents his perspective on the causes of Russia’s war in Ukraine, the course and current status of the war, how it might continue or end, and its possible significance for the formation of a new world order.

The evening begins with dinner at 6:00 pm, featuring coq au vin with mashed potatoes. The lecture begins at 7:00 pm.
