Rappelling on Bornholm’s cliffs

Try guided rappelling on the Spejlet cliff at Opalsøen. The activity takes place on the 45-metre-high rock face overlooking the lake and Bornholm’s rocky landscape. It lasts approximately two hours, and each participant will generally have at least two descents down the cliff.

Thorough introduction and experienced instructors

Before the activity begins, everyone receives a thorough introduction to the equipment and has the opportunity to try it on level ground. You will be provided with a helmet, climbing harness and gloves, and you control your own pace during the descent. The instructor guides you throughout and secures you with an additional rope from the top.

Practical information

The activity is suitable for beginners and those with some experience from the age of 8. Bring clothes that allow you to move freely, practical footwear, water and perhaps a snack. The meeting point is the car park at Opalsøen, where the Klatring Bornholm vehicle will be parked.
