Guided rock climbing at Opalsøen

Rock climbing for beginners and intermediate climbers

Try guided rock climbing in the rocky landscape around Opalsøen with instructors from Klatring Bornholm. The activity takes place on selected routes of varying difficulty and is designed for both beginners and intermediate climbers. Along the way, you will receive instruction and support to develop your climbing skills in a safe setting.

What to expect

At the start, participants are fitted with a helmet, climbing harness and climbing shoes. The group then walks together to the rock faces, where you will climb with a top rope on up to nine routes at heights of approximately 10–16 metres. Adults and young people aged 15 and over are introduced to belaying with a self-locking belay device under the instructor’s continuous supervision. All necessary climbing equipment is included, and the activity lasts approximately 2.5 hours.

Practical information

The activity is suitable for participants aged 6 and over. Children must be accompanied by an adult who can assist with belaying from the ground. Bring clothes that allow freedom of movement, water and a snack. The meeting point is the car park at Opalsøen, where the Klatring Bornholm van will be parked.
