Gudhjem celebrates Halloween during the autumn holiday from October 11 to 17, 2026. Around town, children and adults can explore Halloween activities featuring pumpkins, costumes, games and competitions.

• Giant straw maze – every day, all day.

• Halloween bingo – Monday to Thursday at 11:00 a.m.

• Guess the tasting sample – every day.

• Roll the dice for your prize – every day.

• The old ice house is haunted – every day.

• Marshmallows over a fire.

• Sweet-making – every day.

• Guess the number of pumpkins in the glass dome – every day.

• Draw Halloween – every day.

• Caramel shooting – every day; free according to the poster.

• Guess how many beads are in the jar – every day.

• Children’s disco, weather permitting – Monday, 4:00–8:30 p.m.

• Find the town’s big, nasty spiders – every day, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

• Chocolate-covered marshmallow tossing – Sunday to Wednesday from noon; free according to the poster.

• Children’s fun run – Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.

• Pumpkin throwing and Bornholm championships – Thursday at 1:00 p.m.

• Do-it-yourself face painting – every day, noon–4:00 p.m.

• Pumpkin carving – Monday to Friday, 11:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

• Bedtime stories in Gudhjem Church – Monday to Friday at 6:30 p.m.

Finally, there is a Halloween Swim Disco at Gudhjem Swimming Pool on Saturday, October 17, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
