Along Pederskervejen, set in the open landscapes of Bornholm, you’ll find Galleri Birgitte Scheel Persson. Here, gallery and studio are combined into one space, where art is still being created as you experience it.

Paintings, photographic art and illustrations grow out of memories of places, nature, music and encounters with people. The expression is often dynamic and alive – with colours that shift and tell more than a single moment.

The artist works actively on site, and visitors can gain an insight into the creative process. Portraits of both people and animals are part of the work, created in materials such as acrylic, oil, charcoal and pencil, depending on motif and mood.
