Antonio Dayyani Sextet
Experience Antonio Dayyani Sextet in a vibrant blend of jazz, americana, rock and improvisation at Svanekegaarden.

Antonio Dayyani (born 2000) began his journey as a composer and bandleader in 2022 with his debut album Herfra kan det kun gå to veje. Since then, he has toured extensively with his music and sextet at venues and festivals in Denmark and across Europe. Performed by Dayyani’s sextet, the music is vivid proof that something special can emerge when differences are given space. Listeners are drawn towards jazz, americana, rock, gentle melancholy, lively improvisation and much more.
Both the debut Herfra kan det kun gå to veje (2022) and its follow-up Trop op (2024) were named by Jazznyt among the year’s 10 best Danish jazz releases. Music from both albums has also been regularly featured on DR P8 and numerous international radio stations.
The Danish drummer with the Iranian surname is now ready with his third album, Organisme, a musical and poetic portrait of the sensing, feeling human being that truly liberates Dayyani as both drummer and composer. In connection with the release, Antonio Dayyani Sextet embarks on a release tour in Denmark and Germany, looking forward to transforming Svanekegaarden into a musical free space filled with presence, curiosity and love.
