Stop by Bornholms Valsemølle in Aakirkeby, where four generations have worked with grain and flour. Founded in 1920, the mill now produces flour from a wide range of grains.

In the mill shop, you can explore flour and grains from the mill's own production. The selection ranges from classic wheat and rye to spelt, Öland wheat and durum, among others, and the grain is ground using both rollers and millstones.

Much of the grain comes from producers on Bornholm, giving you the chance to bring a little of the island's produce home to your kitchen – perhaps for bread, rolls or your next batch of home baking.

The shop also carries other products from Bornholm businesses. Drop in when your travels take you through Aakirkeby, and fill your bag with something for your kitchen back home.
