Christmas Spirit on Bornholm
Enjoy the cozy Christmas atmosphere at Bornholms Højskole with woodland walks, homemade Christmas decorations, spiced herring and glögg. Sing Christmas carols, enjoy good company in the fireplace lounge and round off the week with a visit to the Christmas market in Nexø.
Get into the Christmas spirit at Bornholms Højskole from November 22–28, 2026. During the course, we head into the woods to gather materials for Christmas decorations and make our own spiced herring and alternative Christmas glögg using local ingredients.
We sing Christmas carols, enjoy cozy gatherings in the fireplace lounge and round off the week with a visit to the Christmas market in Nexø. Along the way, there will also be time to explore the question: Do Christmas elves really exist, or is it the underground folk at work?

Prices and registration
- Double room without bathroom (couples), per person: DKK 5,700.
- Double room with bathroom (couples), per person: DKK 6,300.
- Single room without bathroom: DKK 6,200.
- Non-residential participants: DKK 5,200.
- Double room without bathroom (with a roommate): DKK 5,400.
All prices include the registration fee. The registration fee is binding and non-refundable in the event of cancellation. Course number: CO.
