Do You Know Her?

Experience a musical family show about Danish women who had the courage to be different. “Kender du hende?” tells the stories of women’s lives, dreams and struggles through music, song and dance. The show explores friendship and community, courage and determination—and daring to break with convention and lead the way.

The music has been newly composed by Anne Linnet, Dorthe Gerlach and others, with Anne Linnet writing the title song. The cast includes Lisbeth Kjærulff, Marianne Gonnov Bøgelund and Nina Aller Christrup, alongside students from Friskolen for Scenekunst.

The show is based on Lykke Sand Michelsen’s book “Kender du hende?”. She also wrote the stage adaptation. The production is by Louise Schouw Teater, directed by Louise Schouw, with set design by Johanne Eggert and choreography by Line Friis Pedersen.
