Galleri 9 offers a mediterranean atmosphere and a beautiful sea view

I was born and raised in Stockholm. My mother was from Finland (Karelia), and my father from Tornedalen. Today, my husband and I live on the beautiful island of Bornholm, Denmark, also known as the Sunshine Island. Here, I have found peace and beauty. The ever-changing nature inspires me to create on many different levels.

We have also built an art gallery ourselves, Galleri 9, which boasts a Mediterranean atmosphere and stunning sea views.

The paintings I create intuitively, which is also my strongest tool, often land in a fantasy world. It’s the inner journey, my need for expression, and the exploration of new facets of myself that are meaningful to me. For this reason, I often paint using different techniques and themes, but I still strive for harmony in my works.

I have exhibited in galleries, art associations, and art fairs since 1990.
I am also a trained decorative painter and have completed 15 public art decorations in Malmö.
