Stay in historic and atmospheric surroundings at Pension Sandbogaard in the heart of Sandvig. The pace is relaxed, the rooms are bright and individually furnished, and the beach, harbour and the distinctive cliffs of northern Bornholm are all close by.

Breakfast is an important part of a stay at Sandbogaard. Much is made from scratch using seasonal ingredients and products from Bornholm – from pot-baked bread and sourdough rye bread to muesli, crispbread and homemade jams made with berries and fruit from the garden and island.

A little step back in time in Sandvig

Sandbogaard retains the feel of a classic guesthouse, while each room is individually furnished with a mix of redesigned and recycled furniture. There are no TVs in the rooms, but Wi-Fi throughout the guesthouse – and plenty of opportunities to find a quiet spot indoors or in the garden instead.

The old garden, with roses and cosy corners, invites you to slow down, while Sandvig’s beach, harbour and coastal life await just outside the guesthouse. Hammerknuden and Hammershus are also nearby.

Café and courtyard garden

A small café and shop are located in the guesthouse courtyard, where you can enjoy coffee and cake or something to eat and drink. Your refreshments can be enjoyed in the courtyard, garden or atmospheric dining room.
