The joy of playing, a sense of connection, and plenty of swing
Norwegian drummer Snorre Kirk moved to Denmark in 2004 to study music and never went home again. In his original compositions, he focuses on simplicity, timelessness, and understatement, with an elegant, swinging drumming style.
This evening, Snorre Kirk performs with his regular bassist Anders Fjeldsted, Italian-American saxophonist and clarinetist Giacomo Smith, and pianist Joe Webb. The musicians bring a broad understanding of musical history and effortless technical skill to an evening of energetic swing.
