Throughout the centre, you will meet guides dressed in authentic medieval clothing, ready to share stories about life on Bornholm during the Middle Ages and invite visitors into the crafts, activities and everyday life of the period. Every day, the centre offers free guided tours and live storytelling that make the visit both entertaining and educational.
Experiences and activities for the whole family
Bornholms Middelaldercenter is especially popular with families, offering plenty of hands-on activities for both children and adults throughout the day. Visitors can try archery, mint their own medieval coin, work with clay at the potter’s workshop or experience the firing of a medieval cannon and hand cannon.
Children can meet goats, rabbits, sheep and geese, listen to pirate stories, sing medieval songs or join fun family activities around the site. During the high season, the area is full of life with even more guides, activities and experiences that make it easy to step into the world of the Middle Ages.
