In the old warehouse buildings by the harbour in Hasle, you will find Grønbechs Gård – Bornholm’s Centre for Arts and Crafts. Here, you can experience modern Bornholm crafts in atmospheric surroundings with changing exhibitions featuring ceramics, glass, textiles, wood and metal.

The historic buildings from 1875 provide a unique setting for Bornholm, Danish and international arts and crafts, where the atmosphere of the old warehouses meets modern architecture and creative expression throughout the restored rooms.

Grønbechs Gård is also a great place to begin if you would like to explore Bornholm’s strong craft traditions and find inspiration for the rest of your journey around the island.

Café, shop and experiences

In the café at Grønbechs Gård, you can enjoy a relaxing break with coffee and cake – either inside the old warehouse buildings or outside in the courtyard on sunny days. In the shop and gallery, you will find Bornholm crafts and design created by local artisans, with the opportunity to bring home a small piece of Bornholm in the form of ceramics, glass, textiles and handcrafted design.

Throughout the season, Grønbechs Gård also hosts events, workshops, concerts and free guided tours focused on arts, crafts and creative experiences.

Grønbechs Gård offers good facilities for wheelchair users, including a lift, elevator, accessible toilets and disabled parking. It is also possible to visit “The Lantern” and enjoy the view across Hasle.
