Fugl & Hav
Experience Fugl & Hav at Svanekegården, an exhibition of stone sculptures by Jørn Villumsen and paintings by Michael Petersen. Open 11 September–18 October 2026, Wednesday–Sunday, 1–4 pm.

An exhibition of stone sculptures and paintings inspired by the Bornholm coast.
Opening reception on Thursday, 10 September, 5–6.30 pm.
Two former classmates from the School of Arts and Crafts, class of 1985, are exhibiting together for the first time. Jørn Villumsen is a draughtsman and illustrator who has now become a stone sculptor. Michael Petersen has worked as a painter, illustrator and designer and has rediscovered painting.
Jørn Villumsen was a newspaper illustrator at Politiken for 30 years and has also worked for Bornholms Tidende. He has illustrated numerous children's books and educational materials and is most recently the author and illustrator of the book "Dæjn borrijnholmska FLÂUAN KÂL".
Michael Petersen is a freelance graphic designer. His work includes graphic design, illustrations and exhibitions for Copenhagen Zoo, including The Arctic Ring, as well as work for Frederiksberg Municipality, Landbrugsraadet and the Greenland Home Rule Government in Nuuk. As a visual artist, he is behind the books STEN – På rejse gennem jordens fortid, SØ & Å and Spor i naturen, and has worked with nature interpretation at Utterslev Mose and Gladsaxe Park.
The exhibition is open 11 September–18 October, Wednesday–Sunday, 1–4 pm.
