The guldgubber are small, thin gold foil figures dating from around AD 550–600. Large numbers were found at Sorte Muld, an Iron Age settlement between Svaneke and Ibsker in eastern Bornholm. The finds reflect the area's rich Bronze and Iron Age history and its importance as a settlement over many centuries. More than 1,800 Bornholm guldgubber can be seen in the permanent exhibition at Bornholm Museum in Rønne.
