At Restaurant Melsted Badehotel, enjoy lunch and dinner overlooking Melsted Beach, the Baltic Sea and Bornholm’s rocky coastline. The restaurant is part of Melsted Badehotel, founded in 1932. In 2026, the hotel was named Denmark’s Best Seaside Hotel and is also included in the MICHELIN Guide Hotels and Falstaff Nordic Hotel Guide 2026.

Bornholm on the plate

The kitchen is guided by Bornholm’s pantry and seasonal ingredients. Its foundations are classic, with inspiration from French cuisine and a modern Nordic expression. Fish and shellfish from the waters around the island, vegetables, herbs and other local ingredients take centre stage, with a focus on fine craftsmanship and the natural flavours of the ingredients.

For lunch, the à la carte menu offers classic seaside hotel dishes and seasonal favourites. In the evening, choose between a three-course and a five-course menu based on seasonal ingredients.

Shellfish evening by the sea

Every Wednesday throughout the summer, Melsted Badehotel hosts a shellfish evening celebrating the bounty of the sea. When the weather allows, enjoy the evening on the terrace overlooking the Baltic Sea, surrounded by the classic seaside hotel atmosphere at Melsted Beach.
