Go on a mobile treasure hunt at Hammershus with the whole family

At Hammershus, families can enjoy a fun and educational mobile treasure hunt where children and adults explore the castle ruins and discover exciting stories together. In the game “The Mystery at Hammershus”, players must stop the mischievous villain Heidenreich from stealing a valuable treasure from the old medieval fortress. Along the way, riddles, clues and tasks guide participants around Hammershus in an adventure filled with fun, learning and fascinating stories about Bornholm’s most famous attraction.

A fun family experience for children and adults

The game takes place in the Useeum app and is designed especially for children aged 6–12, though parents and younger siblings can easily join the adventure as well. The experience combines movement, storytelling and learning in the spectacular surroundings around Hammershus.

“The Mystery at Hammershus” was created by developers with experience from DR Ramasjang in collaboration with Useeum and the Danish Nature Agency, giving the game a playful and family-friendly approach to the castle’s history.

At the same time, visitors can enjoy the dramatic cliffs and Baltic Sea views while exploring the castle ruins and hidden stories. The game is launched directly through the Useeum app, and entrance to Hammershus is free.
